Live Room

Our Live room has 22ft wooden ceilings, a wooden gallery, 2 x 2 Isolation booth by Esmondo. The ground covers roughly 100m2 measuring in 10.5m x 11.5m. The acoustics are superb with a RT60 Decay Time of around 1.5-2 seconds. Equipment includes our Hammond A100 Organ with Leslie 145 speaker, Wurlitzer, Yamaha U3 upright piano (1991) , a full size Chappell Grand Piano (1929), Daneman upright piano.We have recorded a small Chamber Orchestra in our live room- to give an idea of space available.

Control Room

Control Room

Our Control Room was purpose built as a ‘room within a Room’, featuring a  floating floor isolated from the walls, sitting on and isolated with a neoprene insulation membrane. The wall cavities were treated with molybdenum doped sheets for limp mass absorption. Additional insulation from artificial and Lambs Wool insulation was also used in the construction of the room, which is based on a LEDE (Live End Dead End) design. We added GIK Acoustic Panels for walls and ceiling towards the front; 1D and 2D Quadratic Diffusers towards the rear. Monitoring – a choice of Quested VH208, Quested VS2205 (2008) and Yamaha NS10M. We can run 52 Inputs from the Live room to the Control Room. Monitoring/Dry Lines – 8 returns to the live room. Our Audient 4816 Desk has 16 Channels of Input.
